On a serene snowy day at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with some contemplation and hot chocolate, I'm sharing the following important life lessons I've realized lately:
🎯 Stop Saying Sorry
In my first week, My advisor taught me to stop saying "SORRY". As an Indian woman, I notice we are often conditioned to feel guilty about taking up space or asserting ourselves. I try to avoid over apologizing and I find more confidence in my voice 💪
🎯 Be Super Ambitious
A friend taught me to be super ambitious in every aspect of life (courses, projects, collaborations, prototypes, all of it). That's such an underrated lesson.
I share these lessons, especially for women who might recognize themselves in my journey. Let's challenge the narrative that tells us to shrink ourselves or limit our dreams. Let's change that for good! 🙂
Happy December, 2024! ☃️
